The feud between DopeNation and Kuami Eugene has escalated once again, this time with the twin duo delivering their sharpest jab yet through music.

Their latest release, Gym Song, not only references Eugene but also takes aim at Lynx Entertainment, accusing the label of favoritism.

The feud reignited after Richie Mensah confirmed Eugene’s exit from Lynx, prompting DopeNation to sarcastically wish him luck in overcoming the so-called “Lynx curse”—a belief that departing artists struggle to maintain relevance.

Eugene, seemingly unfazed, responded with a cryptic message:

“Anyone looking for attention to drop another gym song should wait. I’m dropping a classic on my birthday for quality music listeners.”

DopeNation didn’t hold back: “As fake as that wig you dey wear. Do us all a favour and take it off. We will soon know who drops a classic this weekend. Game on! PS: Don’t go and steal someone’s song.”

Rather than stopping at social media exchanges, DopeNation channeled their frustration into Gym Song, released on February 7.

The track samples Reggie & Bollie’s Kiss Your Bride and boldly mocks Eugene’s post-Lynx struggles.

With lines like “You no go fi copy for this occupation. No label, now your hit is on probation,” the duo makes it clear they believe Eugene’s success was heavily tied to Lynx.
