Ghanaian Policewoman sues bank for ‘touching’ her dead husband’s plenty money he left behind
CID Director-General, COP Faustina Andoh-Kwofie, has taken legal action against the National Investment Bank (NIB), accusing them of manipulating her late husband’s accounts.
She claims her husband, COP Stephen Andoh-Kwofie, had substantial deposits in his personal and company accounts at NIB.
However, when she requested statements, she discovered alarming discrepancies, with balances much lower than expected.
Some bank officials initially confirmed the presence of large funds but later became unresponsive.
She also alleges internal irregularities at the bank, including staff tampering with client accounts.
Now, she is demanding a court order for full account statements from 2014 to date, as well as damages and legal costs.
