Former Minister of finance, Dr. Mohmmed Amin Adam, has assured Ghanaians that he will hold the current government accountable for its management of the county’s finance.
According to him, he will do so forcefully and without regret.
Dr. Amin Adam believes that Ghana needs a strong opposition to prevent the government from mismanaging the economy and undoing the progress made by the previous administration.
He recalled his own experience with the current finance minister, describing him as a formidable opponents who played a crucial role in ensuring accountability.
“Ato is my good friend. We worked together and had good relationship.
He was my ranking member on the finance committee, and when I became finance minister, he was the minority leader. Trust Ato, he would always debate the economy ” he said.
Ato Forson, PHD, keep him on his toes, he pledged to do the same to ensure the welfare of Ghanaian.
“No, I promise to do my best to hold him accountable and to hold the entire government accountable for their management of public finance and the economy. I will do so forcefully and without regret. Ghana needs a strong opposition to ensure that government does not toy with our lives and remains on , Particularly regarding the again we have handed over to them ” he stated.
